The online series taping will feature a ColdTowne Players Panel, Pop Culture Tonight with Patrick Phillips and special guest actor, Randal Reeder. Then laugh at the truth with screenings of the cult classics, Office Space and Idiocracy. Tickets start at $5.

Toast to German culture at one of Austin’s best beer gardens. The two-day Oktoberfest will showcase the annual release of Montecore, a special Märzen-style collaboration beer with Austin Beerworks. Enjoy $5 beers including Live Oak Oaktoberfest, Firestone Walker Oaktoberfest, Ayinger Oktober Fest-Märzen, Spaten Oktoberfest, Odell Oktoberfest and Avery The Kaiser. Feast on Entewurst, Rouladen, Mashed Potatoes and a special Oktoberfest Board.

Save the day at this annual 5K benefit and fundraiser. The family-friendly event is jam packed with larger than life activities. Enter a superhero costume contest, tackle an obstacle course by BAM Academy, take a photo with the Batmobile or Storm Troopers, watch an aerial performance, learn martial arts, or win free comics from Dragon’s Lair. Registration starts at $40 and proceeds help protect neglected children in the community.
