Friday, November 18th
10-time Grammy winner and neo-soul artist, John Legend, will perform at the 11th annual Andy Roddick Foundation Gala. The swanky event features a cocktail reception, live auction, elegant dinner and live concert. John Legend’s fifth studio album, Darkness And Light, will be released on December 2nd. Tickets start at $69 and proceeds benefit children through afterschool and summer learning programs.
Saturday, November 19th
The national art show and tour will stop in Austin for a night of food, fun and art. The exhibit features over 65 emerging artists from the local underground scene. View the best in photography, mixed media, sculpture and graffiti. Chow down at the free pancake bar, enjoy live music from DJs, Kady Rain and VETRA and join in on the live body painting. Tickets are $5 at the door.
Sunday, November 20th
Star Hill Ranch
Prepare to drool at the 6th annual authentic pig roast and wine tasting. The New Orleans-themed event showcases over 20 top chefs in Texas. Feast on unique dishes like alligator corn bread from Lynzy Moran of Baton Creole or fire roasted porchetta from from Jason Dady. Sip on premium wine and beer, plus enjoy live music while you savor every bite. Tickets are $85 and proceeds support the Austin Food & Wine Alliance culinary grant program.
Art Studios in Central Austin
Big Medium presents the 15th annual self-guided art celebration. The event provides the public with opportunities to meet local artists and admire their work. The free tour features over 500 artists and a variety of curated events and parties. Explore Austin’s rich culture and perhaps make a few new friends along the way.
