Film: The Omen
Music: Ave Satani
Year: 1976
Composer: Jerry Goldsmith
The “Ave Satani” piece from The Omen score is hands-down one of the most sinister sounding pieces of music ever written. Its ominous and rising tone, and choral chanting, easily pulls the casual viewer in with excitement and fear. We’re afraid of the music, but at the same time we can’t help but enjoy its gothic qualities and even sing along to it while we’re watching the film.
Composed by legendary Hollywood composer, Jerry Goldsmith, the film’s dark score would earn him his only Academy award out of his long career in movie music.

Tanks Angel… though it sounds like Rolle, not Tolle, and i also read the lyrics somewhere and it said “Rolle”.

Here’s the translation!
ave = hail
ave satani = hail satan
ave ave versus christus = hail, hail anti christ
corpus edimus = the flesh we eat
sanguis bibimus = the blood we drink
satani = satan
tolle corpus satani = raise the body of satan

‘Corpus’ mean ‘body’, compare to the word ‘corporal (adj.)’.
Rolle…I dunno.
